Vicenza: passeggiata nel Centro. Walk in Centre.

"Scroll down for English version"

Here are the pictures of my afternoon walk in the historic center of Vicenza. Immediately you notice that the city is situated between waterways and rivers, which together point to the monuments make the city landscape character. I did not remember the flood of 2010, but the city makes you see through the obvious signs and still work in progress: a shopkeeper in the window displays a photograph of the ugly event. Small and charming gardens sprout in a historic palace, basilicas and examples of architecture.
In Querini Park are chickens, but I'm not yet clear why.
My photographs I have taken on a Sunday afternoon in January and they depict the sights and views that have impressed me the most.
The shops are all open, many of the most characteristic are several decades and mingle with the city's monuments. In an urban environment quiet and pedestrian passes quickly from one monument to another.

The photographs were taken by me in the empty streets in the early afternoon, then later in the central streets have increasingly spilled people crowded the streets and animated the city. Also the charming courtyard of the Olympic Theatre with high fences and architectural details of Andrea Palladio.

Be noted that we have entered into the city from Querini Park, but the return was found closed by us because of the early (from my point of view) closure, and this has lengthened the route to the car.
